As my fellow Binge Watcher members still continue to express their thoughts and admiration for the love of movies and tv shows, I am here again today to express my thoughts and admiration for the love of music (rap music to be exact). Today I will be giving my thoughts Drakes most recent album ‘Scorpion’. Drake is a Canadian native who used to play in a Canadian tv series in the early 2000s before leaving the show and started pursuing a career in music in 2007. Soon after pursuing a music career, Drake dropped his debut mixtape ‘Room for improvement”. Since then Drake has sky rocketed as music artist with his all of his 5 studio albums going platinum on the RIAA chart with his 3rdstudio album ‘Take Care’ going quadruple platinum.

Drake is known for his two unique sides of music from having hit singles under the R&B and pop genre or the Hip Hop, rap genre such as his most popular song ever known as ‘Gods plan’ (I’m sure every single person on earth has heard this song!) as it was released and featured on his most recent album Scorpion going 8 times platinum !!. Now, time to share my thoughts on the album. Scorpion was one of the most anticipated albums of the 2018 year for rap music, as Drake never seems to disappoint his fans and the community, however majority of the community including myself was disappointed in what we were presented with. The album consists of two parts, part 1 being a more R&B, pop style of music while part 2 was hip hop and rap. For me the album was too slow as each song was mainly focusing on Drake expressing himself and the problems he’s faced like his recent relationships. As a fan of Drakes music since 2011 since his Take Care album he’s definitely released better music to the community such as his 2016 album More Life which was personally one of my favorite albums as it consisted of hard beat rap songs with features from many of my other favorite rappers such as Travis Scott and Quavo.

Although the part 2 side of the album was classified as rap, I still found that the album and the songs put on it were too slow for my liking as I prefer a faster upbeat pace in song with an aggressive style rap. However, there were some songs on the album that displayed this such as Nice for What which is definitely my favorite song on the album

Overall, I would give the album a 5/10 as majority of the songs were not to my liking and can’t wait to see what he has in store for us this coming year. Jake

Welcome to hell

Tom Ellis AKA Lucifer Morningstar Now let me introduce you to one more of my favorite series on Netflix. Yes, its Lucifer. how many of you have watched it? Did you like it or hate it? Lucifer is a Netflix Original urban fantasy series that previously aired on the FOX network. Thanks to FOX's cancelation of the title Netflix was there save the day ironically resurrecting the dark one back to life. This series follows Lucifer, the original fallen angel, who has become dissatisfied with his life in hell. After abandoning his throne and retiring to Los Angeles, lucifer indulges in his favorite things (women, wine and music) until a murder takes place outside of his ritzy nightclub. For the first time in billions of years, the murder awakens something unfamiliar in Lucifer's soul that is bizarrely simila...

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

1*gOeV0oK1YGxszHkuK4cHdA.jpeg Today I am back with a different review from my usual music blogs and reviewing the hit  American Tv series Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Brooklyn Nine-Nine was first aired on the Fox  Network back in 2013 till 2018 until late 2018 Fox decided to cancel the show until the NBC  revived the hit comedy tv show.  Brooklyn Nine-Nine is an American police sitcom featuring an immature, carefree cop  named Jake Peralta, despite his immaturity he still has the best arrest record in the precinct. The first episode starts off with glimpse of Jake Peralta’s true character as he becomes in  conflict with his new commanding officer Captain Raymond Holt. Further into the episode  the audience is introduced to several other characters, Rosa Diaz, Terry Jefford...
