Return to a Classic: The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

In my opinion, this is one of the best trilogies of all time. Peter Jackson brought J.R.R. Tolkien’s timeless fantasy classic to the big screen with stunning visuals that bring the world of Middle Earth to life. The story starts with a young Hobbit named Frodo inheriting a powerful ring that can change the fate of entire civilisations. He along with his friends set out on a quest to find out the hidden valley of Rivendell to seek the council of the Elves and wizard Gandalf. However, they are hunted by dark forces and encounter many dangerous situations. Once at Rivendell, they find a council of all the most powerful races of Middle Earth who debate what should be done with the ring. They decide to destroy the ring by casting it into the fire of Mount Doom where it was forged and a fellowship sets out to fulfil this task. The trilogy follows the fellowship on their quest with stunning visuals and great acting with themes of courage and friendship. This 10-hour movie marathon is a must watch for anyone that loves fantasy and an epic story.
